We went back a few weeks ago at lunch time because our neighbor asked us to give them another chance and it was just okay. Doubt we would ever go back on our own. Owner was a bit too pushy. He kept asking if things were okay and made strange very forced jokes. We felt too embarrassed for him to say what we really thought. He was trying so hard to be friendly but it just seemed insincere and unnatural to us.
This place is a hidden gem. Came in for breakfast and was not disappointed. The staff was very pleasant. Ms Claudia at the omelette bar was AMAZING, friendly and her food was delicious. I think I’ve found my Sunday morning family breakfast spot. If you’re close by check it out. If you’re not close by MAKE THE TRIP, it’s worth it.
Best steak in southern Maryland. Friendly folks. Great service. Beautiful views. Our favorite place to eat.
We like anchoring in Mckay Cove and watching the sunset. Wake and have coffee watching the dropline crabbers in the morning.
Our first time here we tried the breakfast buffet. It was terrible and the interior appears to be falling apart. From the look of the dust on the walls and decorations, it doesn't look like they have a weekly cleaning schedule for the staff.
We came on a Thursday night after looking at the full menu online, unaware that less than half the menu was available in favor of pushing an over priced and underwhelming shrimp and wings buffet, from a tourist stand point. My husband's burger should have been medium, but was instead well done. And no full menu was available just to see prices- we got two soft drinks and a milk unaware that each one was $2.50 and we were both upcharged for fries, even though on the tiny available menu it seemed like only one of our meals should have been. Maybe if we'd come in a night where we could see the entire menu and all prices, it might have been better, but we came to tonight and this was our experience. And based on this experience, we would not come back on future vacations.
